Another successful RCM installation took place in Luxemburg end of last year. Besides the installations in Europe we have now many installations in Asia as well, like the Tsinghua University in Beijing and the National Yang Ming University in Taipei.
The Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine utilizes Re-scan Confocal Microscopy in their research into neurodegenerative disorders like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease. In order to add to their research platform, the institute added the RCM system for an increase of confocal capacity and the optically defined high resolution imaging.
