The excellent 3D-visualisation capability of Arivis Vision4D is further improved with the addition of the new ‘glass’ rendering option for objects.
While similar to the existing ‘Transparency’ rendering feature, it differs in the contrast at the periphery. The new ‘glass’ rendering feature defines the object’s periphery while maintaining transparency, allowing for accentuation of compartments in the image without losing clarity of its contents.
In the following example: the surfaces of nuclei are clearly marked while objects contained within the nuclei can still be observed.
This feature can be used in the latest version (3.5) of Vision4D. Existing customers who are under a maintenance contract will be able to update their application via the Help menu.
